Zazzau emirate loses another prince

The Zazzau emirate mourns the loss of another prince just 21 days after the death of Dan Isan Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris.

The recently deceased, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Idris, was the son of the late Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris, and held the title of Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida.

He passed away at the age of 47, leaving behind a wife and four children.

According to a statement from Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai, Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Idris died on Sunday evening at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) in Shika, Zaria, after a brief illness.

The funeral prayer for the late Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida was conducted at the emir’s palace in Zaria at 11 a.m. on Monday, the statement noted.
