Neptune Prime’s correspondent gathered that the family of the traditional ruler is yet to hear from the kidnappers as the whereabouts of the district head is still unknown at the time of filing this report.

Efforts to obtain information from the Police Public Relations Officer, Plateau State Command, Mr Gabriel Ubah on the issue, proved abortive as he did not pick up our phone calls nor responded to the text messages sent.

However, in response to our phone call, the Special Task Force spokesperson, Major Ishaku Takwa said he hasn’t received any information regarding the abduction.

Recall that this abduction is the third in about three months that traditional rulers in the state were abducted.

The Paramount ruler of Pyem Chiefdom in Mangu LGA, His Royal Highness Charles Mato Dakat was abducted in December 2021 while the District Head of Vom, Jos South LGA, His Royal Highness Da Gyang Balat was abducted in early January 2022.
