Gunmen kidnap Information Commissioner in Nasarawa

Nasarawa State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Malam Yakubu Lawal, has been kidnapped.
A family source who prefers anonymity confirmed that he was kidnapped at his residence in Nasarawa Eggon by heavily armed men after sporadic shootings Monday night at about 9:45 pm.
As of the time of filing this report, the chairman of the local government, Alhaji Idris Odasko and the police spokesperson couldn’t be reached.
Recall that on Saturday, a teacher in a secondary school in the town was also shot to death.
