Salah ends Man City’s unbeaten run

Egypt international, Mohammed Salah, on Sunday ended Manchester City’s eight games unbeaten run in a 1-0 victory at Anfield.

City who were favourites into the game played to expectation but failed to find the back of the net despite the presence of Erling Haaland who missed couple of chances.

The game which ended 0-0 before the break came alive in the 76th minute after Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson Ramses Becker’s through pass to Salah who wasted no time taping the behind City last man, Ederson to seal victory for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp who was furious when Salah was brought down in the eighteen yard was sent off from the dugout.

Sunday’s loss for City will be the first after ten matches where it won seven and drew two.

They trail Arsenal on 23 points while Liverpool are eight with 13 points.
