Yobe lawmaker lauded for empowering farmers with water pumping machines for irrigation farming in constituency

Bade/Jakusko constituents of Yobe State have lauded their lawmaker, Honourable Zakari Ya’u Galadima, for providing water pumping machines to enhance irrigation farming and bring about agricultural development.

Honourable Galadima, a member of House of Representative that represents Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, also empowered women with refrigerators to develop self-sufficiency in the constituency.

Responding to the donations, residents of the town of Gashua commended the lawmaker for his efforts at providing developmental projects to the constituency to improve the lives and welfare of the people in general.

The people expressed satisfaction with the important projects executed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to better their lives and for the development of the area and the economy.

The beneficiaries assured that the gesture will enhance their well-being as it will improve their businesses and agricultural activities in the area.

“These have come at the right time as a result of the floods that destroyed thousands of our farmlands and houses. We are very grateful for this support.” Some of the beneficiaries said.

Similarly, a 40 solar street lights have been installed in different places in Bade/Jakusko; installation of solar power in Gwio Kura, providing seven (7) boreholes with solar energy to the communities of the Bade/Jakusko constituency.
