Yobe gov’t approves employment of 2,670 graduates

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has offered employment opportunities to 2,670 Degree, Diploma, and NCE holders in the state.

A statement by Mamman Mohammed, DG of Press, and Media Affairs to Governor Mai Mala Buni, said the employment would provide graduates with job opportunities, and also fill existing gaps required for efficient service delivery in the state.

According to Ali, the beneficiaries include 890 university degree graduates, 890 Higher National Diploma and National Diploma holders, and 890 National Certificates of Education graduates respectively.

He said the beneficiaries were drawn across the 178 political wards of the 17 local government councils of the state.

Governor Buni charged the beneficiaries to justify their appointment with a high sense of commitment and dedication to duty and enhance service delivery.

“Government has provided all parts of the state with equal opportunity and sense of belonging and ownership of governance.

“We are all stakeholders that have contributions to make to the development of our dear state,” Governor Buni said.

He assured that his administration would continue to provide opportunities to the people and ensure the growth and development of the state.
