Listen to our cry, we want to go to school like other children – Borno girl

A young girl from Borno State Nigeria has made a video to beg for help towards getting education for herself and other children in the insurgency-ravaged State.

The girl who identified herself as Fatima Mohammed from Bama Local Government Area in Borno said it is their dream to get educated but there is no means of attaining it.

She said children within the ages of 7, 8, and 9 within her community have no access to western education and only rely on evening school lessons conducted for rescued Boko Haram children.

Acknowledging the efforts of government and other organisations, Fatima said more needs to be done as the lack of education has made some of the children to engage themselves into immoral activities.
