President Tinubu appoints new NELMCO CEO

President Tinubu appoints new NELMCO CEO

President Bola Tinubu has granted approval for the appointment of Mrs. Mojoyinoluwa Dekalu-Thomas as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO), for a four-year term.

Mrs. Mojoyinoluwa Dekalu-Thomas has been serving as the Acting MD/CEO of NELMCO since the tenure of the pioneer NELMCO MD/CEO, Mr. Adebayo Fagbemi, concluded on May 8th, 2023.

Furthermore, her previous interim role and her new substantive appointment have created a vacancy in her former position as Executive Director, Liability Management.

In line with these developments, President Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Dimla Joel Nchinney to assume the role of Executive Director, Liability Management at NELMCO.

These directives from the President are effective immediately.
