Missing Nasarawa varsity student found dead in Kwara

Tragic news has emerged as Yusuf Mubarak, a 27-year-old student of Nasarawa State University, Lafia, who was reported missing, has been found dead.

The confirmation came from Ibraheem Abdullateef Kolawole, a former Special Assistant on Communication to the Kwara State Government, who posted the update on his Facebook account on Saturday.

“Yusuf Mubarak, our brother and friend who was declared missing on Wednesday, has been found dead.

“He was a loving son, remarkable student of knowledge, a great friend and comrade, and a tireless lover of people and community. It is a monumental loss for Kwara State, especially the youth constituency.

“I send my condolences to his family and the students and youths community in Kwara and Nigeria, and pray for the fortitude to bear this monumental loss. Mubarak’s death is one too many

“Yusuf Mubarak, alias Authority, has been missing and unreachable since the night of Wednesday, 13th of September, 2023, around 9:40 PM.

“He was reportedly last seen at Federal Secretariat Axis, Fate Road, Ilorin, Kwara State. Since then, all efforts to locate his whereabouts have been proving abortive.”
