No plan to hike fuel pump price – NNPCL assures Nigerians
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has clarified that it has no plan to increase the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as fuel or petrol.
Following fears that the pump price of PMS might increase, the management of NNPCL made this clarification through a statement on X formerly known as Twitter.
The company has also urged Nigerians to continue buying fuel at an affordable price.
“Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated,” NNPCL stated.

“Please buy the best quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.”
In another development, on the sidelines of activities at the ongoing ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, NNPCL expressed its readiness to chart a sustainable energy future.
The company’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, made this known while speaking with energy specialist and conference moderator, Eithne Treanor, during a fireside chat.
“Nigeria, we are ready for business. NNPC Ltd., we are ready for business. We are looking for partners who will come and join us in this energy revolution,” Eyesan said.
“Indeed, we are set for business. We have three principles for our survival: profitability, energy transition, and sustainability drive,” she declared.
