Ronaldo sets new record with 6th European Championship appearance
Portugal football team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has set a new record with his 6th European Championship appearance.
In the Group F opener against Czech Republic in Germany, the 39-year-old forward started the game, showcasing his enduring talent and dedication to his national team.
His teammate Pepe, also a key figure on the team, started alongside Ronaldo, setting a new Euros record as the oldest player at 41 years and 113 days.
With an impressive track record of scoring the most European Championship goals (14) and making the most appearances (25) even before the 2024 tournament, Ronaldo has now become the first player to participate in six separate Euros, a remarkable achievement dating back to 2004.
