Tinubu bolsters Nigerian investment climate, seeks stronger partnerships (Pictures)
President Bola Tinubu has lauded Nigeria’s improved investment climate, attributing it to recent critical reforms aimed at attracting investors across various sectors.
During the presentation of credentials by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nigeria, Vice-Admiral Kim Pan Kyu, at the State House, President Tinubu emphasized Nigeria’s potential as a significant market for Korean products, particularly those manufactured within Nigeria. He also highlighted the reciprocal benefits of Nigerian goods entering the Korean market.
In a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), President Tinubu encouraged more South Korean companies to establish production bases in Nigeria, leveraging the country’s favorable economic outlook.

“He emphasized Nigeria’s readiness to partner with South Korea in skill development and knowledge transfer to empower its youth population”.
“Reflecting on discussions with President Yoon Suk Yeol during the G20 Summit in 2023, President Tinubu expressed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between Nigeria and South Korea.”
“He welcomed an invitation from President Yoon to attend the South Korea-Africa Summit in June 2024 and instructed Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to stay updated on the matter.”
Ambassador Kim commended President Tinubu’s leadership role in ECOWAS and Nigeria’s significance in Africa, noting the importance of Nigeria’s participation in the upcoming South Korea-Africa Summit.
Additionally, President Tinubu received letters of credence from Ambassador Antit Mohsen of Tunisia and High Commissioner Muhali Imbuwa of Zambia.
“He emphasized the importance of African unity and cooperation in promoting economic growth and resolving conflicts across the continent during discussions with both diplomats.”
President Tinubu affirmed Nigeria’s commitment to deepening partnerships with North African countries, expressing openness to collaboration in trade, economy, and defense with Tunisia.
“He appreciated the Tunisian government’s recognition of progress under his administration and pledged to ensure a conducive environment for foreign representatives in Nigeria”.
“The Tunisian Ambassador commended Nigeria’s economic reforms and enhanced national security under President Tinubu’s leadership, expressing readiness to collaborate more closely with Nigeria in various areas.”
