Tinubu returns to Abuja after diplomatic visit to Equatorial Guinea
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea. The President’s plane touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 6:30 pm. on Friday.
Welcoming the President back were key government officials, including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and the newly appointed Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

During his visit, President Tinubu engaged in significant diplomatic and economic discussions, which included the signing of the Gulf of Guinea pipeline agreement.
Additionally, the Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea Joint National Commission was revitalised, setting the stage for several bilateral initiatives that are slated for activation in November.
