“Today marks the first day of this noble endeavour, and by the grace of God, we will carry it out over the next seven days,” he stated.

He added, “This humanitarian effort is in line with the teachings and practices of our leader, Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky, and it is being done to help alleviate the suffering of those impacted by the floods.”

In addition to the food distribution, members of the Islamic Movement took the opportunity to extend heartfelt condolences to the people of Maiduguri who have been affected by the disaster.

Several beneficiaries of the aid expressed their gratitude and relief, with many praising Sheikh Zakzaky for the support. One recipient shared, “We are deeply grateful for this assistance, and we pray for the well-being of Sheikh Zakzaky for his generosity during these difficult times.”
