Female corps member slumps, dies at NYSC orientation camp
A youth corps member deployed to Kebbi State, Tayachibiyacha Ebal, has tragically slumped and died at the Dakin Gari NYSC orientation camp.
It was gathered that the corps member, who suddenly collapsed, was promptly rushed to the camp clinic for urgent medical attention. She was later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi for advanced care. However, despite efforts made by doctors to revive her, she passed away.
Confirming the incident, Kebbi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, said her remains had been transported to her home state of Adamawa.
Fingila described the incident as unfortunate and extended a condolence message to the bereaved family on behalf of the Kebbi State government.

Meanwhile, efforts to obtain a reaction from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Kebbi State office proved unsuccessful. The spokesperson, Mrs. Hadiza, did not respond to calls or text inquiries regarding the matter.
