Madakin Gudi congratulates Alhaji Ismaila Ahmed Gadaka on his appointment as Emir of Gudi

The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, has congratulated the new Emir of Gudi Emirate, Alhaji Ismaila Ahmed Gadaka, on his recent appointment as the new Emir of Gudi Emirate by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.
The appointment follows the death of the late Emir, Alhaji Isa Bunuwa Madugu Ibn Kaji, who died after a protracted illness.
Mohammad Gadaka prayed to Almighty Allah to protect and guide the new emir throughout his reign.
As the new emir ascended the throne, the Madakin Gudi prayed for wisdom to rule with justice, discernment, and compassion, and for peace and prosperity for the land.

The new Emir of Gudi
Until his appointment, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gudi, Alhaji Ismaila Ahmed Gadaka, was a member of the House of Representatives for Fika/Fune Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2019.
He also served as a commissioner in Yobe State from 2007 to 2010.
He has been the Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal College of Education, Yawuri, Kebbi State from 2024 to date.
The new emir is also the Chairman of the Local Government Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee from 2024 to date.

As a refined banker, Alhaji Gadaka served in both UBA and Standard Trust Bank, where he rose to the position of Business Manager.
He also held the traditional title of Yariman Gudi until his appointment on Saturday, 2nd August 2025.
