Neptune Prime reporter loses father, Alhaji Saleh Bature, in Yobe
Alhaji Saleh Bature, father of Neptune Prime reporter Yahaya Muhammed Saleh, has passed away.
According to a statement by the family, he died on Tuesday, 20th January, 2026, in Buni Yadi, Yobe State following a protracted illness at the age of about 109 years old.
A prominent business man in his hay days, the late Alhaji Saleh Bature was a respected community leader especially in the Shuwa and Kanuri communities in Damaturu, the state capital and in his hometown of Buni Yadi.

He is survived by his wives, Hajiya Halima Alhaji Baba and Hajiya Hajara, nine children including staff of Neptune Prime Network, Yahaya Muhammed Saleh, forty-one grand children and eight great grand children.
According to the family, the burial of the decreased will be done on Tuesday (today) at about 4.00 pm in accordance with Islamic rites.
