While appreciating the president for allocating adequate funds to the education sector in the annual budgets, the APC youths also lauded the TETFUND executive secretary for the judicious spending of the funds.
According to them, Mr Bogoro has addressed infrastructural deficits in tertiary institutions across the country claiming that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and that of polytechnics only embark on strike to demand allowances now not infrastructures.
He claimed that students in some universities used to sit on windows for lectures due to lack of chairs saying the story has now changed as lecture halls with adequate seats have been provided by TETFUND.
Aliyu who stated that Mr Bogoro who hails from the northeast has never found to have misappropriated funds appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to reconsider him for another appointment after the completion of his tenure and all public officers that are doing well for another office to enable the administration to deliver good governance.
“There is no doubt that one of the areas President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration recorded tremendous achievements in education. And that might have been possible with the collective efforts of his lieutenants manning the sector that is the minister of education and TETFUND executive secretary both of whom hail from the northeast.
“APC got huge votes from youth and students because of the giant’s efforts from TETFund and it is our hope that the government will continue to work with technocrats for sustainable national development”. The coalition advised.
