A women’s group, Women Network for Bra – Bra, Buni and Gubana Support Group, has declared its preparedness to mobilize support from the grassroots for the candidature of All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretary, Honourable Mai Mala Buni, Ciroman Gujba, who is also the 2019 Yobe State Governorship Candidate on the platform of the party.
The group said that it has put its support behind the candidacy of Hon. Mai Mala Buni and his deputy, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, and the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam (Bra – Bra), who is contesting for the senatorial seat of Yobe Zone A, after seeing their contributions to the advancement of the party in the state and Nigeria at large.
The President of the support group, Honourable Fatsuma Talba, disclosed this while leading a delegation of the group to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and the Secretary to the State Government as well as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party.
”We are here in this gathering to tender our profound and unflinching support to these giants in politics and good governance”, she said.
She added, “We will tell our people the truth. We will assure them that Mai Mala is the right choice for Yobe, he is a calm and trustworthy person capable of ensuring continuity.”

Continuing, she disclosed that “We have more than 1000 members in this group and they are all ready to go out on this sensitization that we intend to undertake across the 17 local governments and 178 wards of the state for elections.”
In his comment, the Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, expressed his gratitude to the group for paying him a visit to his office and assured them of his maximum contributions and support to the group.
Similarly, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the APC, Honourable Idi Barde Gubana, pledged his support to the group and also assured them of his support and commitment.
