The Governor revealed this in a media chat on Tuesday saying security reports at the disposal of the state and other security apparatus have shown that bandits, criminals and other gunmen that are on the run from Borno, Katsina, Zamfara and Kano are regrouping in the state to continue their dangerous activities.
At the moment, the state government and security agencies in the state are having high-level consultation on the need to launch massive operations in some flashpoint areas especially Birnin Gwari, Zaria, and almost all Local Government Areas in Southern Kaduna, where there have been tribal and communal clashes leading to several losses of lives. He assured that his government will prefer to take any punitive measure to restore peace in the state.
