Kogi Assembly approves over N30 billion supplementary budget for 2021

Kogi State House of Assembly has approved a supplementary budget of over thirty billion Naira for the 2021 appropriation bill.
The supplementary budget was approved following the clause by clause consideration at the committee of supply during the plenary.

The approval which brings the 2021 appropriation bill to over 160 billion was done under the request of Governor Yahaya Bello to meet the development needs of the state.

The State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello had on August 25th forwarded a request of over thirty Billion Naira supplementary budget to the State House of Assembly for approval.
The Governor in the letter to the House said the request was based on the need to improve the state infrastructure and security of lives and property.
