Anambra Church shut down, founder arrested over security issues

The founder, Children of Light Ministry, Mr Onyebuchi Okocha popularly known as Prophet Onye Eze Jesus has been arrested by Anambra state joint security network, Operation Udo Ga-Chi.

Blueprint learnt that the man of God who recently regained freedom from kidnappers den was arrested on Friday at his church and country-home, Nkpor in Idemili North Local Government Area (LGA) by the state security network – Udo Ga-Chi comprising Agunachemba, military, police and others.

A viral video showed Onye Eze Jesus being shouldered by a man as he walked like a pregnant woman in labour amidst tight security operatives.

Although, officials were yet to confirm the report, it was gathered that the security operatives sealed his church and properties and drove him down to state government house at Awka for questioning as investigation continues to discover if he has link to those causing security breaches in Anambra.

It will be recalled that Governor Chukwuma Soludo launched Operation Udo Ga-Chi since last month in an effort to nib insecurity to the bud following constant reports of kidnapping, killings and sudden disappearance of persons.

The outfit, it was learnt had succeeded in arresting several personalities in Anambra state for questioning while demolishing buildings found to be used for criminalities as well as prosecuting those found guilty.
