Bandits attack Sokoto village on Sallah day, kill 10 people, kidnap others
Bandits have attacked Dudun Doki village in Gwadabawa local government area of Sokoto State on Sunday, which is the day of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to reports, the armed men launched the attack in the early hours of Sunday around 1:30 am, killing over ten people and abducting numerous others.
Sokoto State is among many Nigerian states in the North-West battling the menace of banditry with many people killed by the criminals.
The armed terrorists have kidnapped many people and released some after receiving ransom from families, while others still languish in captivity.
