Cameroonian woman takes own life after boyfriend she sponsored to US dumps her for another woman
A Cameroonian woman based in the US reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself after her boyfriend dumped her for another woman.
Cameroonian activist and humanitarian, Bella Powers disclosed the incident in a Facebook post on March 29th.
According to Powers, the woman, who lived in Hyattsville, Maryland, took her own life after learning that her ex-boyfriend was planning to marry another woman on June 3, 2023.
The lady had funded the man’s relocation to America from Cameroon.
Powers wrote: “The lady, who hailed from the Northwest Region of Cameroon, precisely Ngie, spent all of her money to bring the love of her life, a man from Bangwa in the Southwest Region of Cameroon, to America.
“After some time in America, the man decided to end their relationship as he was no longer interested in her. A while later, the woman discovered that he was already planning a wedding with another woman for June 3rd this year. Upon hearing this news, she was extremely heartbroken and ended her own life by hanging.”
