Cattle rearers praise Buni over compassionate leadership

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has applauded Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, for what it described as an inclusive, compassionate and people-centred leadership style.

Speaking on behalf of the association, its National Chairman, Khalid Muhammad Bello, said the progress recorded in Yobe State over the past seven years reflects Governor Buni’s distinctive approach to governance.

According to Bello, the governor’s achievements at both state and national levels are rooted in his ability to lead with empathy, respect and fairness for all citizens, regardless of background.

“KACRAN recognises Governor Buni as a true statesman whose political journey—from a grassroots politician to National Secretary of the APC and eventually Governor of Yobe State—demonstrates a lifelong commitment to public service,” he said.

The association also highlighted Governor Buni’s decision in 2019 to relinquish his influential national role to answer what it described as the call of the people of Yobe.

Bello noted that the move underscored the governor’s selflessness and dedication to grassroots development, describing him as a leader who consistently places the welfare of the people above personal ambition.
