The Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Saliu, has died at the age of 75.
The revered Islamic scholar and cleric reportedly passed away in Ilorin, Kwara State, though details surrounding the circumstances of his death were not immediately disclosed.
Sheikh Saliu was widely respected for his deep knowledge of Islam, spiritual leadership, and commitment to peaceful coexistence among communities in Ilorin and beyond.
