Corps members to erect 2 signposts in Bogoro LGA
Story from Beatrice EARLAND, Bauchi
Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in the Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State have finalized plans to erect two signboards as part of their monthly community development effort.
The NYSC members disclosed this when they paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of  Boi Ruh Mah Yah, Mr Bala Ibrahim Likita today.
Mr Inobong Obot Udeme who led the delegation said the two signboards are part of the NYSC community development effort designed to guide strangers who are visiting the area for the first time.
“I want to inform you that we have planned to carry out three major projects but we prioritize the construction of the two signboards to help strangers easily move around the community”.
“We’re glad for the support NYSC received from the LGA and members of the public in Boi community. And we are here to inform you and your people that the construction of two signboards have been completed and is billed to be commissioned on Friday by the LGA authority”.
Corper Obot appreciated the moral and financial contribution received from well-spirited individuals.
We are sincerely grateful for your support and NYSC looks forward to more support from every member of your community. Thank you for all your kindness.
In his response, the village head of Boi, Mr Bala Ibrahim, expressed delight in the gesture and promised to work with NYSC.
I have informed members of the community particularly the BPA and stakeholders of my community about your voluntary work and they will give you the necessary support.
