Dangote foundation has so far donated 300 bags of flour to Kano State Hisbah Board for an onwards distribution to its corp members of the board.
The Commander General of the Board, Dr Harun Muhd Sani Ibn Sina announced this Friday at the commencement of the distribution exercise, during a ceremony held at the board’s headquarters in Sharada quarters.
Dr Harun Ibn Sina further pointed out that the donations came at the right time, to cushion the current economic hardship and suffering of the corp members.
He called on wealthy individuals, philanthropists, and organisations in the state to assist in the government’s effort to improving and alleviating their economic hardship.
He also acknowledged and appreciated the Dangote foundation for the kind gesture to Hisbah corps members in the state as well as teaming individuals and other citizens of the country.
Earlier speaking, the Deputy Commander General on Special Services who is also the chairman committee on collection and distribution of donations, Imam Hussain Ahmad Cediyar Kuda commended the support and effort of Dangote foundation for showing concerns to the plight of the poor and needy as well as Hisbah corps in the state.
He assured to distribute the items judiciously among the potential Hisbah corps members of the board who were on duty and the needy person among others.
