#EndBadGovernance: Fintiri calls on Tinubu to act fast on Nigerians grievances

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has called on President Bola Tinubu to act promptly in addressing the pressing concerns of Nigerians.

During a statewide broadcast on Sunday afternoon, Fintiri emphasised that it is no longer sufficient for the President to simply acknowledge the plight of the citizens; decisive measures are required to effectively resolve their grievances.

He praised the residents of Adamawa State for their peaceful demonstration during the #EndBadGovernance protests, while highlighting the need for the Federal Government to actively listen and respond to the people’s demands.

Acknowledging that the protests may not have been well-received by all due to their approach, Fintiri underscored the importance of recognizing the sincerity of the message and the legitimacy of the calls for change.

He pointed to critical issues such as hunger and poverty, reminding leaders of their obligation to not only hear but also respond substantively to the challenges faced by citizens.
