Ex-Kano SSG threatens to expose Kwankwaso, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf
Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the former Secretary to the Kano State Government (SSG), has threatened to expose the state’s governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Bichi, who was recently dismissed from his post due to health reasons following a cabinet reshuffle by the governor, issued the threat during a speech to his supporters after returning from Saudi Arabia.
“I left the office peacefully, but let me be clear: this is not the time to speak. At the appropriate moment, we will reveal the truth,” Bichi said in a viral video obtained by Daily Sun.
He continued, “I have documents, videos, and voice notes that will expose who they really are.”
According to Bichi, the evidence would shed light on the dynamics of their relationship, claiming, “They know nothing but betrayal. They are not to be trusted.”

The rift between the former SSG and both Governor Yusuf and Kwankwaso became public when Bichi was suspended from the NNPP. He was accused of orchestrating a movement to separate the governor from Kwankwaso.
Sources close to the situation revealed that tensions between Bichi and Kwankwaso intensified following disagreements over the selection of the NNPP chairmanship candidate for Bichi Local Government Area in the recent local council elections.
