Just when we thought that #DettyDecember would be all about music concerts and other fun activities, singer, Abolore Akande, better known as 9ice, has exchanged vows with his belle, Olasunkanmi Akande.
The couple, who have a five-year-old daughter between them, had their court wedding and white wedding in Lagos State during the week.
The excited groom took to his Instagram page to gush about his wedding with a post that read, “The winning team. My long-time dream. Happy you agreed to embark on this journey with me. Damaged goods turned aging truth, pure through you and you Olasunkanmi Akande. #countdowntoforever #beautyand9ice.”
The bride was also not left out as she flooded her timeline with photos and videos of her pre-weding shoot with her man.

However, while the newlywed couple was basking in the euphoria of their new status, 9ice ex-wife, Toni Payne, took to her Instagram page to reveal that she had raised their son without 9ice’s help.
Her post read in part, “I have raised Z 100 per cent alone without complaining. To every parent, especially single parents, raising their kids without help from the co-producer– I know it’s not easy. But may God give you the tools needed to give them the best childhood.”
9ice is also believed to have a set of twins with another lady identified as Vickie Godis.
