First Ilorin Emirate’s female Lt. Col. Ramat Suleiman celebrates Emir Sulu-Gambari @ 85
The first female from the Ilorin Emirate to have attained the rank of Lt. Col. in the Nigerian Army, Ramat Suleiman, has celebrated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, on his 85th birthday.
A statement she personally signed on Tuesday described the Emir as a father with an uncommon zeal and tenacity. She reiterated that Mai Martaba is an icon of unity, progress, monumental civilisation and modernisation.
The Lieutenant Colonel also explained that the Emir has navigated Ilorin Emirate Affairs with pragmatism, piety, sincerity, understanding and robust leadership, which had paved the way for peaceful coexistence within the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
She also asserted that the Emir had written his name on the good side of history due to the metamorphosis of development the Ilorin Emirate has attained since his ascension to the throne of his forefathers in 1995.
She prayed Allah grants Mai Martaba good health and long life in the service of Islam, Ilorin Emirate and humanity.
