Alec, the godmother of a remarkable young girl, took to social media to celebrate her goddaughter’s transformation as she turns 12.
Eleven years ago, the child’s life was shattered when her father, in a heinous act, shot her in the face at just one year old. Tragically, this horrific incident also claimed the life of her mother.
Despite the unspeakable tragedy that she endured at such a young age, the resilience and strength of this young survivor have been nothing short of inspiring.

Alec’s heartfelt tribute paid homage to her goddaughter’s incredible journey, highlighting how she has blossomed into a beautiful and talented teenager who now dances across the country.
In her post on Saturday, December 9, 2023, Alec expressed her admiration for her goddaughter’s unwavering spirit and determination to overcome adversity.
“11 years ago, my baby girl was shot in the face by her father at 1 year old. She’s now 12, almost 13, dancing all over the country & the most beautiful girl ever,” the godmother wrote.
