FULL LIST: Tinubu sacks 5 ministers, nominates 7 others to new portfolios

Months after increasing calls for a cabinet reshuffle, President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers and reassigned ten others to new portfolios. He has also nominated seven new ministers for Senate confirmation.

The dismissed ministers include Uju-Ken Ohanenye (Minister of Women Affairs), Lola Ade-John (Minister of Tourism), Tahir Mamman (Minister of Education), Abdullahi Gwarzo (Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development), and Jamila Ibrahim (Minister of Youth Development).

Additionally, the President appointed Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the National Sports Commission and Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation, operating from the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, according to the Presidency.
