Galaxy Backbone MD congratulates Pantami on becoming CIISec fellow

The Managing Director (MD), Galaxy Backbone (GBB) Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar has congratulated the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, on his conferment with a Fellowship status by the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).

This was contained in a statement by the Media Special Assistant to Professor Abubakar, Mr Tasiu Muhammad Pantami.

The statement reads: “Professor Abubakar felicitates with the Communication and digital economy minister on the historic recognition, noting that he is also the first and only African Fellow admitted into CIISec amongst 89 other Fellows.

“Professor Pantami’s passion, creativity and consistency since his assumption of office, recorded a convergence and synergy in the ministry, taking security into full consideration, especially in the global cyberspace”, the GBB’s boss said.

Professor Abubakar who commended the minister’s resilience towards development in the nation’s economy through cybersecurity intelligence noted that the minister’s priority on skills and information technology development has in so many ways addressed the unemployment challenge in the country.
