Gov. Buni appoints Babagana Mahdi as Grand Khadi of Yobe Shari’a Court of Appeal

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Khadi Babagana Mahdi as Grand Khadi of Yobe State Sharia Court of Appeal with immediate effect.

Khadi Babagana’s appointment comes after a recommendation by the National Judicial Council and subsequent confirmation by the Yobe State House of Assembly.

His appointment is in line with the provisions of Section 271(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
