Yobe state Governor and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the placement of 181 newly admitted Medical students on Grade level 07 salary scale.
The 181 students are newly admitted to study medicine in both Nigeria and foreign universities.
“This is to encourage the study of medicine to meet the gap in manpower requirements of the state.
“This is one of the critical areas that this administration is committed to improve our needs and to serve our people better” he said.
Gov. Buni enjoined the students to make good use of the incentives provided by government in the course of their studies.
“You are opportune to be among the beneficiaries of this gesture, you should study hard to justify the investment government is making in you for a better future and to serve the state deligently” Governor Buni advised.
