Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, Thursday at Damaturu Stadium launched the official distribution of empowerment materials under the Zonal Intervention Project sponsored by the Senator Representing Yobe East Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Education, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam.
The items distributed include: 213 Lion Sewing machines, 136 TL3D Embroidery machines, 136Tricycles, 50 Thermacool deep freezers, 134 Snow seat deep freezers, 50 200watts stabilizers, 49 Grinding Machines, 30 Wall dryers, 30 Hand dryer, 189 KLM Hair dryer, 188 PRO hair straightener, 30 Saloon chairs, 217 Electric drills, 982 Plastic desk locker, and chairs.
Other items include bundles of assorted backs, Drawer and Cabinet set 08, Computer 05, Printers 05, Irrigation water pump 15, Mercy Ferguson Tractors 04, Wheelbarrow 67, and Exercise books 27,264 respectively.
The items are expected to be shared throughout the constituency of the Senator which is made up of Damaturu, Gujba, Gulani, Tarmuwa, Bursari, Geidam, and Yunusari Local Government Areas of Yobe State.
