Gov. Yusuf confirms reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido as Emir of Kano
Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reappointed Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi as Emir of Kano.
Governor Yusuf on Thursday announced the appointment at the Government House after signing the Kano Emirate Law as amended.
The governor signed the law at exactly 5:10pm alongside his deputy, the Speaker of the State Assembly and other principal officers in the government.

Former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had dethroned Sanusi in 2020, who also split the Kano Emirate into five.
