Yobe APC chairman commends transparent presidential primary as Tinubu emerges victorious

The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, has lauded the party’s presidential primary that resulted in the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as a highly democratic and transparent exercise.
Gadaka made the remarks on Saturday while at the Goge collation centre in Gadaka Ward, Fika Local Government Area, where he was present to exercise his franchise and oversee the conduct of the APC presidential primary election.
In a display of unprecedented unity and consensus, all 8,450 delegates at the Goge collation centre cast their votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The unanimous decision reflected the overwhelming confidence of party faithful in the President’s leadership and the success of the party’s consensus-building process.
Speaking to newsmen after the exercise, Chairman Gadaka commended the peaceful and orderly conduct of the primary, noting that the process adhered strictly to democratic principles.
He described the outcome as a testament to the APC’s commitment to internal democracy and the collective will of its members.

“What we witnessed here today is democracy in action. Every delegate freely expressed their choice, and the result speaks volumes about the trust and support President Tinubu enjoys across all levels of the party,” Gadaka stated.
The successful primary has further solidified the APC’s position as a party rooted in transparency, unity, and the rule of law, setting a strong precedent for future internal elections.
