Judge orders Kanu out of court over unruly behaviour

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), be removed from the courtroom following what he described as unruly conduct.
Tension rose after the judge dismissed three fresh motions filed by Kanu, ruling that they lacked merit. As the court prepared to deliver its ruling, Kanu objected loudly, insisting that proceedings could not continue because he had not yet filed his final written address.

He accused the judge of bias and claimed the court lacked proper understanding of the law. His raised voice and repeated interruptions prompted Justice Omotosho to order security operatives to take him out of the courtroom while he finalized his judgement.
