The Director of Personnel and Management (DPM), of Machina Local Government in Yobe State, Baba Shehu Bukar has commended the state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, for approving over N38 million for the repairs of 100 hand-pumps across the local government.
Bukar made the commendation on Thursday in an interview with Neptune Prime in Machina location.
He said the most of the hand-pumps were out of usage for a very long time which eventually made the people of the local government faced with water scarcity.
Bukar also expressed optimism on the Mai Mala Buni’s led administration, saying the governor has been a grassroots focused politician who has his people at heart.
He, therefore, on behalf of all the good people and the stakeholders of Machina local government expressed his profound gratitude to governor Mai Mala Buni for the timely intervention to the benefiting communities.
