Man flogs 3-year-old daughter to death for entering neighbour’s house in Delta
A 25-year-old man, Godsgift Uweghwerhen, in the Aladja community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, is in the police net for allegedly flogging his three-year-old daughter to death.
He reportedly flogged the baby who was said to have been sick for some time with a cane and inflicted bodily injuries on her.

It was gathered that the suspect committed the act on Wednesday after the child allegedly entered his neighbour’s apartment.
He reportedly fled the scene immediately after noticing that the child had died from the beatings.
Uweghwerhen was however apprehended at Ubogo community near Aladja by the vigilante team in the area and was handed over to the operatives of the Nigeria Police in Ovwian/Aladja Division.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer for Delta State Command, Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident.
“Suspect is in our custody”, the police spokesman stated.
