Mercy Johnson saves co-star from drowning on movie set

Nollywood actress Hadiza Abubakar recently expressed gratitude towards her colleague, Mercy Johnson, after sharing her near-death experience on a movie set.

On Instagram, Hadiza revealed that she almost drowned while everyone was under the impression that she was acting. It was only Mercy Johnson and the stuntman who realized that Hadiza was gasping for air and assisted her.

In her Instagram post, Hadiza wrote, “While filming on set yesterday, I almost drowned, but everyone assumed I was acting. It took them a few seconds to realize that I was losing my breath. Thanks to Aunt Mercy Johnson and the stuntman, who noticed and helped me out.”
