Nasarawa Assembly chamber to be upgraded, sitting adjourned till further notice

The Nasarawa State Government has awarded a contract for the upgrading of the chamber of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA).
This is to enable it to meet up with the global best standard of the legislative chamber with the state of the art facilities for quality service delivery.

Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi revealed this during the House sitting in Lafia today.
“I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has approved the contract for the upgrading of the hallowed chamber of this honourable House.
“The contractor handling the project will commence work Tuesday by God’s grace and it is on this note that I want to officially inform the honourable members and staff to excuse the contractor to do the job diligently,” the Speaker said.
“We sincerely appreciate and thank His Excellency for the gesture, the House will be resuming after the completion of work” he added.
The House, therefore, adjourned its sitting till further notice.
