Story from Usman IBRAHIM, Yola

The Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) has begun the screening of 150 intending Christian pilgrims in Adamawa State.

Rev. Zenald Zedon Love, Executive Secretary, Adamawa Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (CPWB), disclosed that the screening will commence fully on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023.

Rev. Zedon Love told newsmen on Monday that the pilgrims cut across the grassroots in the 21 local government areas of the state.

He added that five others were drawn from each LGA making 105 pilgrims and other officials including the medical team for successful exercise in the holy land.

“The state government makes sure that there are officials to take good care of our pilgrims.

“With the presence of the officials, the pilgrims would be treated well and nobody will look down on anyone because I consider every pilgrim a VIP,” he said.

He further said that the board was doing its best on sensitizing the intending pilgrims to guarantee a successful spiritual journey.
