Osun man in court for defiling 4-year-old girl

A 38-year-old man, Olabiyi Oluwatomisin, has been arraigned before the Osun State High Court for defiling Titilola, a four-year-old girl in the State.

Oluwatomisin, who was arrested by the State Security Service in November 2022, for defiling a girl who just turned five years old on June 5, 2023, charged with two counts charged on Monday in Osogbo.

The charge sheet read: “That you, Olabiyi Oluwatomisin Male, 38 years of age, on or about 12 November, 2022, behind matrix filling stotion, Owode Ede, Osogbo within the jurisdiction of the Honourable Court did forcefully defile a child thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under 5.31 of the Child’s Right law of Osun State of Nigeria, 2007”.

“That you, Olabiyi Oluwatomisin Male, 38 years of age, on or about 11 November, 2022, behind matrix filling station, Owode Ede, Osogbo within the Jurisdiction of the Honourable Court did indecently assault a child. thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under S.360 of the Criminal Code law, Cop34. VOLI, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002”.

The offender was granted bail while trial commences on July 11, 2023.
