Police Affairs Minister, Senator Gaidam leads Nigerian delegation at INTERPOL summit in Glasgow

The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam is representing Nigerian at the 92nd INTERPOL General Assembly taking place from November 4 to 7, 2024, at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

This annual gathering is INTERPOL’s highest governing body, bringing together delegates from its 195 member countries to discuss and decide on critical issues related to international policing and security.

Representing the Nigerian President at this significant event, his excellency, Senator Gaidam, CON, is leading the delegation at the assembly.

Hosting the General Assembly in Glasgow highlights the UK’s role as a global leader in security and policing, providing a platform for member countries to collaborate on strategies to tackle organised crime, terrorism, and fraud.

The presence of high-ranking officials like the Police Affairs Minister at this assembly emphasises the importance of international cooperation in addressing global security challenges.
