Police arrest Adamawa man for defiling
1-year-old step-daughter
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man, Idi Adamu, for allegedly sexually assaulting his one-year-old step-daughter.
Spokesperson of the command, Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
He said the arrest followed a complaint made to police by the mother of the victim who doubles as wife to the suspect.

“On the 1/5/2024, the command arrested one Idi Adamu, a 30-year-old resident of Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government, for sexually assaulting his one-year-old step daughter.
“The command will reveal more details after the completion of ongoing investigation,” the statement read.
