The Kaduna State Police command has recovered dangerous weapons after neutralizing 4 bandits while also arresting their female accomplice in the state, whom upon interrogation by the police, confessed to supplying bandits within Kaduna state with weapons.
According to the report on Channels Television, the bandits were said to have been terrorising people living in Saminaka, a residential area found in Lere local government area of Kaduna state before nemesis caught up with them.
The Special Tactical squad force of Abuja alongside Operatives of the Operation Yaki of the Kaduna state Police were on a trail of the bandits when they intercepted them along Saminaka-Jos expressway.
The bandits were said to have been riding in a Sharon blue car when they were intercepted by the police. Ipon the interception, the bandits were reported to have opened fire on the Policemen but were immediately repelled, leading to the death of 4 of their members while others escaped into the bush with bullet wounds.
From to the report, some of the weapons recovered from the bandits include AK47 rifles, AK49 rifles with loaded live ammunition and the operational vehicle used by the bandits to carry out their operations in the state.
